2020→ This Cycle
Drawing a parallel between
a celestial event and my movement around the space, I interact with pieces of a fragmented
bicycle and embody different characters in random and absurd situations, for example a tutorial
for recalling your showers in the morning, or shouting angrily into the void holding a bicycle seat.
In the light of Halley’s Comet, which visits the earth every 76 years, I wanted to communicate
how small and miniscule everything we do and engage in feels, yet also so undeniably there. I
travel into the distant past to postulate how people across different times and places could have
interpreted the comet.
