I work as an art teacher for kids aged 5 to 16.  I approach teaching as an opportunity to foster creative exploration and encourage self-expression. First and foremost, art should be fun. My classes are designed to emphasize the process over the end product, stimulating playfulness and collaboration among participants. I strive to break down the barriers of fear and perceived inadequacy often associated with artmaking, instead nurturing an environment where creativity can flourish uninhibited. I value and promote collective work, and place incredible importance on children making their own choices, ultimately developing autonimity and decision making.

Currently employed at Art-S-Cool Den Haag, I offer classes in diverse neighborhoods to kids from Dutch, Turkish, Moroccan, Polish, Ukranian, and other backgrounds. I have taught in over ten different locations in the city, including primary, middle, and vocational education schools.
